Inventory & Logistics Officer

Our Client a successful Australian company whose customers include top tier National and International companies - Supplier of specialty ingredients!

The Role
Reporting to the Logistics Manager you will be responsible for the processing of all inbound shipments (receipting, distribution and logistics) and document control as well as supporting supply chain functions and managing inventory control.

Responsibilities
• Process reception notes ensuring batch / quantities are correct
• Ensure all freight forwarded / service provider invoices are processed and pricing is correct
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system
• Investigate, adjust / sell or dispose of damaged stock
• Ensure service providers and adhering to SLA’s in relation to shipments, reception notes and stock
• Rolling stock checks

Skills / Experience
• 3-5 years related experience in a similar role
• HSC or studies in the area of Supply Chain / Inventory
• Experience in inventory Control
• Experience working with local freight companies and 3PL’s
• Knowledge of Inventory Management systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical ability and problem solving skills
• Solid planning and coordination ability
• Advanced Excel – data analysis skills
