 Big smiles and electric anticipation as we stood on Mona Vale beach at 7 am on May 3 at the start of the 2024 Coastrek charity hike!
We were hopeful the rain would clear, unfortunately, this was not the case and from beach to beach and headland to headland the rain battered us from above and sideways too!!
We became experts at the art of puddle jumping. A change of dry shoes and clothes refreshed our spirits as we continued along the breathtaking Northern Beaches coastline.
Nothing dampened our spirits and although totally drenched we enjoyed hiking for Wild Women on Top who this year supported the wonderful work of the Heart Foundation!
