Electrical Production - Micro Soldering Experience

The Role
Reporting to the Production Manager you will be responsible for the production of cable assemblies to instructions, with close attention to detail and quality.

Your ability to read schematic drawings coupled with a background working in roles requiring fine electrical micro soldering (under microscope) is essential to your success in this role.

Skills & Experience
• Previous experience in a production environment
• Competent in the use of manual electrical and pneumatic crimping tools, manual and electrical cable stripping tools, computerised cable cutting machines, ability to solder, and knowledge of RF cable assemblies
• Micro soldering
• Ability to read and understand wire schedules, drawings and schematics
• Attention to detail, and the ability to easily follow processes
• Team player, with a flexible and collaborative approach
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure
• Proactive, positive attitude, with a solution focused approach

Responsibilities
• Produce cable assemblies according to instruction
• Support other areas of assembly where required
• Working with manual or electronically generated job documents.
• Production documentation (bills of material, routers and work orders)
• Production line work environment (flow line production and individual)
• Reading of drawings
